This course seeks to equip enterprises (both for and not for profit) and entrepreneurs in establishing community based tourism (CBT) models as an alternate livelihood source for the local communities. The course will enable participants to envision and plan their enterprises through opportunity recognition, and value creation, market development, capacity building and systems thinking. Who Should Attend This programme is meant for you, ‘IF YOU ARE’: ♦ Part of a non-profit organization or a senior professional of a CSR foundation keen on starting or supporting community based tourism enterprise as an alternate livelihood intervention. ♦ Part of any government tourism or livelihood department and would like to know more about community based tourism. ♦ A founder or co-founder of an existing community based tourism enterprise. ♦ Planning to start a community based tourism enterprise OR have already made some headway and would like to bounce your ideas.
